Helac Corporation Expands Hydraulic Rotary Actuator Solution, L30 Series

With the largest selection of models available, the L30 Series offers exceptional durability, flexibility and versatility

Helac Corporation, a global manufacturer of hydraulic rotary actuators, announced a significant expansion of the L30 Series product line. The L30 Series, a replacement solution for Helac’s large HP actuators, offers a unique combination of features not found in other rotary positioning devices.

With both larger and smaller sizes added to the original product line, the L30 Series is now available in ten sizes with torque output ranging from 17,000 to 740,000 in-lb (1,920 to 83,600 Nm). The L30 Series is an ideal solution for heavy duty applications requiring high load carrying capabilities, high torque output and compact configurations.

L30 features include:

• Large, integral bearings can support heavy radial, moment and thrust loads without the need for additional, external bearings
• Exceptional resilience to shock loads results from the innovative, sliding gear operating concept that distributes loads equally
• Zero leakage permits accurate, drift-free positioning
• Mounting flexibility - variety of housing options are available as well as provisions for cantilever and straddle mounting
• Corrosion resistance - exclusion seals minimize ingress of contaminants, grease ports enable contaminants to be flushed from bearings
• Custom engineered designs can readily be provided to meet OEM application requirements

In addition to the L30 Series, Helac Corporation offers two additional integral bearing design solutions for carrying heavy loads, the L10 and L20 Series.
